Based in Amsterdam and founded by Pieter ‘Parra’ Janssen, an artist, designer and pro skater originally sponsored by Colorblind, Janssen’s design flare shone through during his early career and led him to become an art director and graphic designer for parties and venues in Amsterdam during the early ‘90s. He then launched his first clothing label Rockwell in 2002 and specialised in t-shirts with large custom graphic prints. The brand progressed in 2004 and led to the creation of ‘Rustico The Great’ which helped to elevate the brand and Janssen’s presence with two collections a year of sweaters, jackets, hats and homewares.

His second and now current project, by Parra, slowly took over and has remained a wearable outlet for his creativity with collections that have been produced mindfully with eco pre washes, custom silhouettes and high quality silk screen prints that showcase his artwork at its very best. Postponed until 2021, we’re looking forward to the custom Nike SB uniform designed by Piet which will be unveiled in the Tokyo Olympics.
